Official NPD data has revealed that Hasbro's Furby Boom was the best selling toy of 2013.
And the data made for happy reading for Hasbro as both the Furby Boom and Furby 2012 made it into the top 10 toys of 2013.
"First launched in 1998, the Furby brand has consistently performed well, reinventing itself and upgrading its features and delivering great play value to resonate with today's kids," said Foye Pascoe, general manager UK, Ireland Nordic & Benelux at Hasbro.
"Furby was worth more than £18m to the UK retail market in 2013. We're so proud to have Furby Boom and Furby 2012 in the UK's top 10 toys of 2013, it's an incredible achievement."
