By reducing the numerical fluctuation associated with turn-on as possible, our technology achieves high PF >0.9 and low THD. In the flyback or buck-boost topology, high PF and low THD are achieved due to constant on-time and constant frequency in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) operation. In general, the industry has recognized that DCM is often used for PSR flyback topology because it provides a higher use value.
